Mark leads the KalioTek team, manages business alliances, and works with CEOs and CFOs of venture-backed companies to formulate their IT strategies and create solid foundations for growth.
Mark has spent 30 years developing and deploying IT strategies and solutions for Silicon Valley companies. Over the last 18 years, he served as CIO and IT Director for several rapidly growing companies.
He was a member of the founding management team at Corio (acquired by IBM). As VP of IT Consulting for Corio, he created and managed the CIO Services practice, the Program Office, and led pioneering projects to deliver enterprise applications through the ASP/SaaS model. Prior to that, he was Director of IT Outsourcing for DSCI.
As Director, Tom supports strategic KalioTek clients by providing IT management, system growth planning, and project management expertise.
Tom has over 20 years of experience in IT management, strategic design, implementation, and support. Prior to joining KalioTek™, Tom was a senior support engineer for the high-tech startup Audible Magic, responsible for building out and managing the customer support structure. He also was responsible for designing and deploying their global music monitoring network. Earlier in his career, Tom was the founder and president of Reliance Computer Solutions, a managed service provider working with many small to midsized Silicon Valley companies.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
As Vice President, Infrastructure and Security Services, Ben provides strategic IT leadership to KalioTek™ clients. He is also in charge of orchestrating and architecting client projects and in parallel provides his technical expertise and guidance to the KalioTek™ consulting team. In addition, Ben is responsible for managing the KalioTek™ Network Operating Center.
Ben has over 20 years of experience managing, designing, building, and supporting IT Infrastructures. Prior to taking on the Director role, Ben was a Senior Consultant at KalioTek™. Having this role has allowed him to become exceedingly proficient in designing and building IT infrastructures. For Ben, this experience translates into the ability to not only manage, but deliver proven solutions to the client.
As a Bay Area native, Ben’s earlier career has naturally gravitated around Internet Startup and Tech companies and supporting their IT needs. Before joining KalioTek™, Ben was part of the Mobile Escalations team at Yahoo!, providing upper tier IT support within the organization.
Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
As Director of Service Desk, James is responsible for managing the service desk team and its daily operations. He drives innovation to constantly improve the team’s effectiveness and meet industry-leading SLAs. Each day he demonstrates his commitment to producing value for our customers by supporting their ever-changing business objectives.
James has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, and IT End User Services. His expertise extends to business and infrastructure applications, process improvement, project management, audit, and compliance. He has managed support of business-critical infrastructure and applications, providing solid SLA performance and customer service.
James graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. He is a PMI Certified Project Manager. He has earned a CISSP certification from ISC2, a CISA certification from ISACA, and is ITIL certified.
